Carbon credits: your land's third product

A carbon credit is one tonne of CO₂ captured or avoided through conservation agriculture practices, verified by an independent third party and recorded on an international standard. It is one more product from your farm, in addition to the grain and the straw.

High integrity

High integrity

High integrity means that each carbon credit equals one tonne of CO₂ actually captured in your soil: measured in the field, verified by independent auditors and certified to the most demanding standards (Verra). No inflated estimates or empty promises. That is why global buyers such as LDC and Aither trust our credits and pay more for them, and that value goes straight to the farmer.

How it is generated in the field

Conservation agriculture practices that capture carbon

Carbon is captured by applying conservation agriculture practices on your farm. You provide the data for each season and the regional agent supports you throughout the process.

Direct seeding

Reduces tillage and preserves the soil's natural structure to improve fertility, retain moisture and lower costs. Direct seeding helps protect the plot against erosion, improves water-holding capacity and enables a more efficient crop.

Cover crops

Keep the soil covered with vegetation to prevent erosion losses, increase organic matter and improve biological activity. Cover crops help retain moisture, reduce compaction and prepare the soil for more resilient crops.

Crop rotation

Alternate different crops to improve soil health, break weed, pest and disease cycles and make better use of available nutrients. Good rotation reduces inputs, improves productivity and increases the long-term stability of the farm.

How we do it

A clear process, no surprises

From the moment the contract is signed, the farmer has full access to the process. We validate each season alongside them and advance the agreed income.

1

Year one · First payment

The farmer provides the season's data and it is validated. They receive the first advance on the estimated value.

2

Year two · Second payment

The second season is recorded and validated. A new advance is made while a professional continues the technical monitoring of the farm.

3

Third or fourth year · Verification

An independent auditor certifies the carbon credits generated by the project.

4

Final payment

The credits are sold at a competitive price and the farmer is paid the remaining amount.

Get ready for the future of carbon

Carbon markets are evolving, and credit prices are expected to rise with the European CRCF certification. Starting now lets you position your farm ahead of the new carbon markets.
